Common problems and how to fix them
The VPN disconnects when the device sleeps
That is expected behaviour on resume. Enable auto-connect for untrusted networks so it re-establishes itself, and on mobile allow the app to run in the background — battery optimisation is what kills the tunnel most often.
Cleanup wants to delete files you still need
Review the list before confirming; browser caches and temporary files are safe to remove, but check anything under Large Files. Nothing is deleted without confirmation, so read the categories rather than clicking straight through.
Upgrading from the free tier did not unlock features
Sign out and back in to the app with the account holding the subscription, then use Refresh Licence. Buying on the website while signed into a different account on the device is the usual reason features stay locked.
